I know that a true education requires understandings of the Black influence on the world. It is my responsibility and privilege to promote awareness of Black perspectives and truths, which can enhance our collective strength, especially in the face of challenges; enabling us to rise to our individual assignments with honor and innovative thinking.
As a writer, I am rediscovering confidence in my voice and narrative style. My journey toward self-expression, once hindered by the pressure of perfection, is shifting toward intention and spirit.
